here’s a story from its pages where Mia finally sees that vulnerability is a scary word only when you have something to fear.

“Overload”

Eric unlocked the front door and they walked in.  Mia was twirling and buzzing inside.  She had been wined and dined and was so thoroughly captivated with the kindness of her Daddy, she couldn’t have been made any happier or been made to feel any more complete.

Or so she thought …

“Did you enjoy your weekend of cravings, Mia?” Eric asked, setting his keys and wallet on the kitchen counter.

“Yes, Daddy,” she answered, softly and sweetly.

“It’s soon time to get you ready for bed,” he said, switching to the syrupy Daddy tone which always made her knees weak.

“Yes, Daddy,” she said softly, opening the refrigerator door.

Eric walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, his left hand continuing up onto her right breast.  She froze in place, feeling his grip on her while taking in the energy and heat she could feel coming off him.

“Soon … but not yet,” he whispered into her ear.

The Saga Option –

Mack took something out of the nightstand drawer, but Emmie didn’t see what it was.  She honestly didn’t care just then.  She was mesmerized by him and by how he had taken a simple fantasy and made it reality for her.  Knowing that he cared like that was all it took for her to hand over her heart to him.  And since that glorious moment when she bonded with him, dynamic took on greater meaning.  Going through life with a passionate heart was an admirable quality.  And in that sense, Emmie was already an amazing girl.  But going through life with someone to share her passionate heart with made her amazingly happy.  That was Mack’s effect.  He was more than just an accepting person, but also – the Daddy she always wanted to wind up with.  Lying before him, with bent knees, this day would be her journey to find what existed beyond happy.  And she couldn’t have been more excited to be his BabyGirl for the trip and, if the fates allowed, for a lifetime.

How to Begin at the End

After the reception, the BabyGirl walked into the Fields of Gold with her Daddy as the sun set at the end of their wedding day.

“And now what do we do, Daddy?” the blushing BabyGirl bride asked.

“We go back to the beginning,” her Daddy replied.

“What do you mean?” she asked, perplexed at his answer.

“When we first met, we began a journey together.  And in our minds, we saw where we wanted to wind up.  We saw the destination and it was beautiful, but we knew the journey ahead of us would teach us all we would need to know about our life together,” her Daddy answered.  “So, at the beginning, we saw the end.  And now that we’re here, we can begin again, with new horizons to guide us and new journeys ahead.”

He took her hand and they watched the fleeting golden rays of the sun.

“Tomorrow is the beginning of the rest of our lives,” her Daddy whispered to her.  “And just like before, we’re going to see where we want to wind up when the new journey is finished.  This time around, we’re going to begin at the end.”

The LifeTime in an Instant

He first met his BabyGirl at a corner deli on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in early spring.

Spring was the season of new beginnings and of new awakenings.  Little did he know what would happen between them at first sight.

She became his passion, his heart, his soul, his responsibility and his companion.

He became her security, her trust, her faith, her admiration and her soul mate.

But thinking back on that first day, it became clear what the magic was which passed between them.

They saw what was to come, in the flash of two sets of irises that were still perfect strangers.  It was a LifeTime in an Instant.

The O.T.K.

One of the most frustrating things a Mommy has to deal with is repeating herself.  And it isn’t always that she wasn’t heard the first time.  It’s often that a little mind fails to pay attention when it needs to.

But when a Mommy grows weary of not just repeating herself, but also repeating the same ineffective punishments, she begins to do less in order to accomplish more.

And the new lessons are learned in a different way when O.T.K.

(Start with Part One)

Taking hold of the front waist of her jeans and panties, he pulled both out slightly as he slid the diaper stuffer inside her panties.  She lowered her chin and nursed on her pacifier as she pressed up against him, hoping anyone nearby might think they were simply hugging.

He slid the stuffer inside her panties half way, pulling her waist bands out a bit further so his hand could guide it in the rest of the way.  When he pulled her waistbands out a bit further, her bladder released a little and she re-clenched her groin muscles, but not before having peed a little on his hand.

“Has It Been A Minute, Yet?”

Patience is a virtue.  But for someone with littleness in the heart, patience is an obstacle between them and getting what they want when they want it.  A Mommy picks up on this and her maternal instincts kick in, addressing her little one’s needs, but not catering to his wants.

Instead, everything would happen in Mommy’s time.  Lil Gus was wet and patience wasn’t on his side … yet.

“Daddy, can we keep it?”

Elliot opened his eyes and blinked a few times, staring up at the ceiling.  He was hearing the strangest noise.  There was no way the noise he heard could possibly be coming from what makes that kind of noise.  He was convinced he was still sleeping.  It was the only logical explanation.

Little Heart at the Lost-n-Found

She bent her legs while resting easily on the little rug in the kitchen where her Daddy sometimes placed her when he was making lunch or dinner.

When on that rug, she was not to crawl off it until he told her to.

It was 9 am on a Saturday and she nursed on her morning bottle. What a wonderful, wonderful bath she had just received by his hands, and how calm her little heart was just then.

She could become lost so easily as his BabyGirl.  Lost in her thoughts, lost in her emotions, lost in the little world he created for her and kept her in.  Being his BabyGirl didn’t make her life perfect, but it sure felt like it was.  But she knew that a big piece of that perfect puzzle she found in him.

And each day, she became more aware of how the only thing her little heart ever had to do in order to be found was to get lost … in her Daddy.

She wasn’t gonna make it much longer.  Her wonderful, glorious “weekend away” with her Daddy had begun, but it had been a long drive to get to the hotel and she had held her bladder … too long.

Standing at the hotel check-in, she leaned forward on the counter, able to pinch her thighs together and clench the right muscles from wetting herself right then and there.  But any sudden movement could be it and she would become a wet little girl.

“How to Get Him to Follow You”

Their wedding was beautiful as was she.  Dolled up to the nines, she felt more like a Princess than a BabyGirl, but no matter what he called and how he saw her, his heart belonged to her now.

Her Daddy was handsome, dashing even in his tuxedo.  And as the reception wound down, their first night of marriage began.  This was the moment she had been waiting for her whole life.  And she refused to allow a second of it to be wasted.

Kicking off her heels and letting her hair down, she tossed the bouquet and ran into the Fields of Gold where she had spent so much time in life learning who she was and who she was meant to be.

At long last, she had infact learned who she was and with her feminine wiles sending signals to her Daddy and now Husband, he could see she knew where she wanted to go, where she was going and how to get there … And that is why he followed her.

One HeartBeat at a Time

A tan was one of many things to look forward to about the summer and for a BabyGirl, each season had its waiting memories.

Her Daddy always took her on vacation of her choosing in early July.

This year, she chose the cruise to the Islands.  And for weeks, she sunbathed, getting her tan ready for the trip.

Her skin was smooth, her mind was little and her body was affected.  Her Daddy’s words alone could produce the melting of her soul.  His actions melted the rest of her.  But the greatest bit of Daddying he ever did to her came from a simple sentence she once heard him say to her, just before he turned out the lights one night:

“BabyGirl, whatever you feel, make sure to feel it … One HeartBeat at a Time.”

——————————————

Bacon, Eggs & “Cheese!”

Penny removed the pink pacifier from her mouth, setting it on the table in front of her.  Her pink summer dress and her matching pigtail holders made her the cutest lil girl in the restaurant.

For all her many different colored footed pajamas and her multitude of matching pacifiers and pigtail holders, she was happiest when wearing pink.  The same was true for her sun dresses.  And that morning, her happiness couldn’t have been clearer – in her eyes, in her composure and in her heart.

How to Lose Sight of the Limit

She closed her eyes, looking up to the sky.  It was the morning of her wedding and she took the remainder of her single life to reflect on the journey she had made to arrive at this very day.

She made each decision count, each emotion have balance, each question find its answer and each day mean something.

And on this glorious beautiful morning, she felt a confidence she had sought her entire life.  She would soon be married to the Daddy she was born to meet, to follow and to love for a lifetime, for the long haul.

And looking to the sky, she decided how far she was willing to reach to achieve more happiness.  She smiled brightly, realizing that for the first time in her life, she couldn’t see the limit she believed herself capable of reaching.  It was too far away to be seen.

A Place for Everything

“There’s a place for everything and everything should be in its place.”

He had lost track of how many times his BabyGirl had said that too him.

She preached that simple, adorable belief and she lived by it, too.

From the stuffed animals in her crib to the bedtime story and coloring books on her little bookshelf to the the icons on her computer’s desktop to the clothing in her drawers, she was Little Miss Organized.

Sitting on her night time diaper and prepping her hair for bedtime, she tottered about, making certain each hair found it’s way into the ponytail she was putting it into.

Standing at the kitchen entrance, holding her night time bottle and blanket, her Daddy smiled at the adorable sight of her “getting ready”.  His thought was simple, too.  She was right.  There is a place for everything.

And her place was in his heart.

“The Promise of Fire Flies”

Promises mean everything … when you’re little.

Sitting on the kitchen floor in her diaper and the night shirt her Daddy had made for her, Dani had that single belief in her heart.  Her Daddy promised her he would take her outside before it got too dark to catch fire flies.  And it was the word Promise which made it so special for her.  It meant that he was going to set aside the time so she could indulge in being little and being little with him.

BabyGirl In The Crib

It stands to reason that “breaking even” might best be described as the balance of success and disappointment.  In life, we seek one, but find both, in turn.

There are moments, however, when it becomes clear that what you found wasn’t really a disappointment, but rather the detour which led you to the success you didn’t even know was there.

I firmly believe that I will always be a slave to the GPS.  Without it, I guarantee I will get lost every time.  There are zero percent navigational instincts within me.  But on a night in early June, I discovered that my GPS didn’t always give road directions.  Instead, the GPS guided my heart …

The “Streaks” of Sunrise

Penny threw her hands to the sky, trying to keep the sun out of her eyes while also keeping the skating helmet from falling off her head.  Elliot slid the light green elbow pads down each of her arms and then tended to the loose helmet strap under her chin.

“There we go,” he said, tightening the strap to the helmet before standing to his feet.  “Now, let me get a look at you to make sure you’re all together right.”

It was 6am on Sunday morning and the two of them had risen quite early, taking down a few English muffins to hold them over until breakfast.  The reason they got up so early?  It was to do a little activity which they just might get in a little trouble for.

Janie of the “Jungle”

It wasn’t too long ago that she doubted herself.  Living life with a well-guarded secret in her heart was anything but easy. Doubt of happiness and of self can take their tolls when the pleas of one’s soul are left unanswered.

Six months ago, she hardly knew of the happiness the little girl inside her could bring to her life.

But then she met her Daddy and her life changed forever.

Janie never would’ve imagined that one day she would be so comfortable with herself that she might be standing on the top of a jungle gym in the middle of a park on the sunniest day of the summer so far – wearing a t-shirt, a diaper and smile which only a BabyGirl knew how to make.

Yet today, she was wearing all three and looking down at the camera-clicking reason why self-doubt had no place inside her anymore …

Her Daddy.

The 7th Inning Crinkle

The speakers began blaring “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” as the top of the 7th inning came to a close.  Everyone stood up to stretch.

What a game it had been so far.  And what a day it had been so far.

She and her Daddy traveled to the big city, took the bus to all the usual attractions.  She had been such a good girl all day long – not fussing during her diaper checks and changes, holding his hand and even taking a short nap in the park in place of the one he laid her down for in the afternoons.

Tinkling changes were easy to take care of throughout the day.  But now after lunch, dinner and way too much popcorn during the ballgame, she needed the kind of change which couldn’t be taken care of around the corner of a building.

Standing up, she placed the back of her hand on the small of her back – the silent signal that told him the 7th inning crinkle needed to be the last one for the diaper around her waist.

Oh, what a wonderful week this was going to be: Seven days in the BeachTown where they met – all the sand, boardwalk strolling, tanning and memories she could make in that time.
