With such statements on their website, it’s clear that BareBum Diapers is onto something pretty special.

What a brilliant name for a diaper.  What a brilliant site and what a brilliant idea in general.

When you get on barebumdiapers.com, you will quickly find out that the creators of this line aren’t just producing a really neat adult diaper.  They are pulling from their own pasts and making nostalgia seem new.

In a parallel from the musical world, what made the band Queen so globally popular was how their music drew people, cultures and nations together.  Their songs all spoke of the exact same issues, concerns, desires, wants and needs that every human being has.  So, instead of dividing, they multiplied.

BareBumDiapers feels that way about things, too.  When I read the words “Wear Proud” on their site, I realized that – much like many other ABDL companies – we really aren’t competition for one another, but rather, yet another contributor with opportunity to help the ABDL community grow.

Spacey of The Big Little Podcast, often says: “A rising tide lifts all ships.”  BareBum Diapers is shining example of that.

I hardly know where to begin. 

2016 has begun with a galloping pace and as I put some long hours in at a theater to help them get their first show up and running, I find myself with limited to no time to write and to keep updating this website.

But as the new show nears it’s opening night, my schedule will return to normal.

For now, however, I wanted to drop this quick blog posting and give anyone who may so care to read a bit of knowledge for what is happening, what is about to happen and what is shortly down the road.

Firstly, there’s CAPCon coming up.  March 18th – 20th.  In years past, CAPCon has sold out by Valentine’s Day.  So, if you’re on the fence about attending it this year, it’s soon time to decide or to then look forward to CAPCon 2017.  There’s only so many tickets left at this point.  And I can’t encourage you enough to go to this convention.

Secondly, there’s some really big news to let you in on and a whole lot of things for you to listen to coming up before too many more sunsets and sunrises bookend our days.  I wish I could just tell you what it is, but I have been sworn to secrecy.  As I am a man of my word, I will only say … that sometimes, there are three peas in a pod.

Thirdly, there will be another sample of the forthcoming 60 Degrees and Down the Crack – an ABDL ebook with a storyline that was born at TeddyCon 2015.

Zorro Daddy

Dynamic Moments are points in time when you make discoveries or when you come to conclusions or when you feel the beginnings of something greater than yourself.

During the month of December, I will be writing about 10 such moments.

Here is the tenth:

Gratification Saturation –

When people first get something they’ve always wanted, perhaps something they’ve wanted for quite some time, they will often inundate themselves with it, indulging in whatever it is to excess and beyond. This is similar to the spending sprees people often go on after winning big time in the lottery.

When dynamic moments are felt, gratification follows – inherently, if not even more so than that. And the saturation part is natural as well. Why wouldn’t we want to have as much of a good thing as we can handle? The real trick is finding the one thing in life we have to have as opposed to need … balance, balance of all things good and all things great and all things immeasurable of quality.

Without balance, it’s hard to know what too much is. Without saturation, it’s hard to know what too little is.

But the need to have gratification is part of the process and also a right. Journeys that end well often end that way. And to see someone indulging in rewards is never a bad thing. For a Daddy, seeing his little swoon in anything to the point of being saturated is reward in itself.

Gratification, thankfully, has limitations. But those limitations are, ironically, limitless. Doing the same thing all the time eliminates the specialness it could hold. A thought to ponder would be: You can’t miss something, if it never goes away. At the same time, what if you don’t want something to go away?

From these ponderings comes the return to that concept of balance – of where something you crave becomes something you wanna keep craving. And for once, limitations give you the ability to balance that out. But what awaits at that point is greater than you could’ve imagined otherwise.

When you find the saturation, then find balance and that’s when it will really good. There will still be plenty of moments of gratification saturation. But there will also be a leveling that will make everything sustainable, so that you can enjoy gratification like that now, a year from now, ten years from now and for the rest of your life – without ever allowing it to become too much to live with.

And when you feel that balance, that will be a dynamic moment for you.

What’s in a Name? –

“What’s in a name?”

That seems like a fairly simple question and though it was merely just a line in a Disney song, Timon brought up a very interesting point … perhaps a dynamic one, at that.

I actually didn’t respond to the name Zorro Daddy at first when I began attending ABDL events like CAPCon, TeddyCon, Private Parties and the like. Up until then, I was never called that name to my face and it took a bit of time to adjust to it. But now, when someone at one of those conventions calls me by my real first name, I often don’t respond to it because I’m expecting to be called Zorro Daddy.

So what’s in a name? Our given names are one of the first words we recognize and begin to respond to. But when we receive other names, given to us by friends and significant others throughout life – those names become endearments. This is not because the names are particularly special, but more so because of what they mean and why we were called them.

In private, they make us snap to attention without hesitation. After all, when you need to convey something to someone, you call to them. But what you call them can also be just as forthright in attention-getting as it is familiar.

In public, when you whisper a pet name in someone’s ear or even go so far as to call across a store to them with something like: “Come on, baby. Let’s go” – you elicit a response that may not be outwardly visible on the surface. With a simple name that you save only for them, you can find the center of their heart.

But what really happens when we hear particular names we are called?
• Chemicals like oxytocin are released in the brain and stress is reduced by a simple four letter word of love.
• A sense of security is given, to know that someone is there for you, whether when happy or when sad – to dry your tears and make your heart race.
• Focus is found and utilized on a great many fronts, from tasks before you to the ease in ability to enhance a meaning relationship.
• I’ve also read that when you call someone “baby” that they see you as their baby. If that’s true, then it’s a pet name that works perfectly for switch couples.

Baby is a universal pet name, but it has a different and far more significant meaning for us. It’s only one of countless names that we use. But when in the right mood or state of mind to be receptive to such mushy exchanges, some BabyGirls can’t help but be swept away – all while still standing on their feet.

And when you feel that or any positive affect from names such as baby, that will be a dynamic moment for you.

The Growth Reason –

I firmly believe things in life that last, that remain and that can become permanent are able to do so because they happened naturally. From inception to toleration to deepening to need and through all levels of growth, when a connection or friendship with someone begins without facade or on false terms the ever after can be far more likely than the end.

And there are many reasons for this with many theories along the way. But growth in general is fundamental for all of us … growth of the mind, of self, of love, of so many other things. And I believe we instinctively make our choices of pursuit, based on the likelihood of our growth. This could be with regards to careers, education, religion and other foundational elements of life. But our own need to grow can encourage us to live in certain areas, to eat certain foods, to remain close with one’s family – but also to keep certain people or things or experiences out of one’s life.

Evolution is an ever-happening catalyst behind all decision we make about growth. We put ourselves in the best situations we can to develop beyond our own imaginations. And while evolution is theory-based in itself, there are theories as to why we make the choices we do.

And one theory in particular that I have always been fascinated by is the theory that offers up a possible explanation as to why the average female is shorter than the average male.

Pheromones are chemicals with an insect or mammal that are emitted from the body and released into the environment to affect other members of the same species. Pheromones sometimes warn of danger, but can also give directions to others and they can also signal arousal.

In humans, pheromones are emitted from the skin and from all over the body – from the top of the head to the underside of the feet. But on a female’s body there is an area where her pheromone emission is at its highest and strongest. That area would be on the top of her head and on her forehead. This is her pheromone “hot spot”.

For a male, his “hot spot” is across his chest and at the front of each of his underarms.

The average female is 5’4” and the average male is 5’10”. (Or 1.62 meters for females and 1.78 meters for males) The exact inch/meter count varies from one place in the world to another and for other reasons, but the result is almost always the same: The average female is shorter than the average male.

The theory? When a female faces a male, her nose is at the height of his chest – right where his pheromone “hot spot” is located. And at the same time, a male’s nose is lined up with the top of her head – right where her “hot spot” is located.

The theory states that evolution has made up grow up or grow down – to line up our sniffers with the other’s “hot spot”.

I have no idea if any of that has been proven or if it’s true at all, but it makes good logical sense. And think about it …

How many times have you buried your nose and whole face in your Daddy’s chest? Ever wonder why you enjoyed doing that?

How many times have you sniffed your BabyGirl’s hair? Ever wonder why you like the scent, even if she hasn’t used a scented shampoo that day or the night before?

We grow towards the things we want and towards the things we need and towards the things that make us feel better about who we are.

The ABDL dynamic? Oh my, it insists – if not requires us to keep growing. That’s what gives it further depth and makes it something that is as fundamental to us as breathing is. Every bit of it can be natural and thusly, can grow for a lifetime.

And when you feel that reason to grow with someone and because of them, that will be a dynamic moment for you.
