In Every Girl’s LifeTime, there are moments that define who she is.

Mia & Eric recently had a rather life-changing experience and it led them both to realize that life was too fragile to live without placing  all the cards on the table.

What this led to was the weekend they threw fear and modesty to the wind, pursuing the cravings she had spent a lifetime dreaming about.

“Overload” 

Eric unlocked the front door and they walked in.  Mia was twirling and buzzing inside.  She had been wined and dined and was so thoroughly captivated with the kindness of her Daddy, she couldn’t have been made any happier or been made to feel any more complete.

Or so she thought …

“Did you enjoy your weekend of cravings, Mia?” Eric asked, setting his keys and wallet on the kitchen counter.

“Yes, Daddy,” she answered, softly and sweetly.

“It’s soon time to get you ready for bed,” he said, switching to the syrupy Daddy tone which always made her knees weak.

“Yes, Daddy,” she said softly, opening the refrigerator door.

Eric walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, his left hand continuing up onto her right breast.  She froze in place, feeling his grip on her while taking in the energy and heat she could feel coming off him.

“Soon … but not yet,” he whispered into her ear.

“The Weekend She Believed”

Moving Weekend has arrived for Mia and Eric.  Everything would be picture perfect, if Mia would believe it was real. But in her own words:

“I never believe that something good is real.  When I finally believe in the fantasy that’s when I wake up to find out it was a dream, and just another castle in the clouds.  That’s when I lose Hope.”

A vicious cycle of broken dreams has always led to a broken heart for her in the past too many times for her to not be cautious nowadays. 

But Eric, always patient with her insecurities helps her through the current struggle she faces.  In his own words:

“I firmly believe that nothing will happen to one’s self without dreaming first.  The Dream is what tells the Heart what to look for.  Believing is what enables one’s soul to follow.  And Hope is what makes us pursue it all.  Don’t look for the fantasy.  Look for the reality which could include it. I think you have all the pieces necessary to put the puzzle together.  And there will come a day when you wake up and the dream will be there, waiting for you.”

It was early Saturday morning. Mia looked out through the kitchen window at Eric packing up the last of her belongings in the moving truck.

He had arrived late last night and, inside of about three hours, had managed to get all that she owned into the truck. He seemed possessed as he strategically and systematically used every square inch of the inside of that truck. Part One –

This was the question going through Mia‘s mind as she watched him unlock the front door of his house, a quaint little cottage in the woods. The midnight was cool and crisp as many nights were in early spring. She held on to his hand and followed him inside.

Looking around his house, she took notice to the bachelor’s lifestyle he led. The kitchen had a wooden counter and dark-wooden cabinets. Everything had a specific order to it, but not so complicated as to make it impossible to keep up.
